Women, from the home to feminist revolutions: 1971, women will vote

In 1971, women won the right to vote in Switzerland. How are we to understand this sudden change after so much resistance, deaf ears and legislative passivity? We need to look both outside and inside Switzerland at the joint pressures that came together to make this hitherto denied right possible. Different ways of thinking about women and feminism are being expressed. Victory allows the emergence of nuances that were still silent.
