Several videos with Tom Cruise have been posted on TikTok and they've been viewed millions of times. We see him playing golf, falling awkwardly or performing a magic trick. Except that this isnʹt the real star of Mission Impossible, but a video made using artificial intelligence by Belgian creator Chris Umé. Watching them makes you realize just how much deepfakes technology is improving, and that itʹs getting harder and harder to tell the real from the fake.
