Vaud hospitals on maximum alert for overcrowding

The canton of Vaud is raising its hospital overcrowding alert level. It has been raised from 3 to 4 due to numerous winter viruses. Authorities recommend that patients contact their GPs, on-call doctors and pharmacies as a priority before going to the emergency department.
