Tax amnesty, a positive outcome

Given the pressure on banking secrecy, tax law professor Xavier Oberson has proposed "giving the Swiss one last chance" to regularize their tax affairs. In his view, while a federal tax amnesty would be "questionable" from an ethical point of view, it would be a very pragmatic way of getting money back into the system.
