Switzerland's forensic police soon to start phenotyping

Swiss investigators will soon be able to obtain more information from DNA traces found at crime scenes. The draft revision of the Act on the Use of DNA Profiles has been under consultation since late summer 2019. In particular, it provides for the possibility of using phenotyping, in other words indications such as eye or hair color.
