In Switzerland, more than two people a day resort to assisted suicide

In 2014, the FSO recorded 742 assisted suicides of people domiciled in Switzerland, or more than one in every 100 deaths. The number of assisted suicides rose by 26% year-on-year and has been steadily increasing since 2008.
