The silence of the big boys

We live in a paradoxical society. Both "obesophobic" since it stigmatizes obese people and "obesogenic" since it encourages the development of lʹobesity. Grossophobia is a silent and socially tolerated form of discrimination: nastiness, insults, disdain, suspicion of lack of willpower and negligence, bullying at school, segregation at work or even contempt from the medical profession.
