Reducing the duration of antibiotic treatment has no impact on the efficacy of these treatments. This conclusion emanates from a study of patients suffering from bloodstream infections, conducted by the HUG, CHUV, St. Gallen Hospital and the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne.
