Self data" or mastering your data

Big data companies aren't shy about using Internet users' data unwillingly. At least, that's what we're seeing as part of the #mydata open investigation. But a new trend is bringing about a paradigm shift: self data, or when the individual once again becomes the actor of his or her own data.
