25,000 young people run away from home every year in Switzerland, including 7ʹ000 in French-speaking Switzerland, according to the Missing Children Switzerland foundation. A rising estimate of this teenage practice, which is neither a crime nor a misdemeanor, but which can put the runaway in danger. How do you get out of your home, with no roof over your head and no money, faced with the risk of crime or assault?
