Revolution in the fight against obesity: discovery of new fat cells

Swiss researchers from EPFL, the Institute of Bioinformatics, CHUV and the University of Lausanne have identified a new type of fat cell that could explain why some people accumulate fat around the waist, increasing the risk of obesity.
