Lʹaphasia is a disorder that prevents patients from formulating language although they still have speech. Usually, it is linked to a lesion in the brain or spinal cord. New hope for these people could come from brain-computer interfaces. These would make it possible to interpret the signals emitted by the brain and transform them into coherent language.
