Pope Francis reconquers South America

The pontiff visits three South American countries to halt the erosion of the Catholic faith in the face of evangelicalism. Two years after his visit to Brazil, the first pope in the southern hemisphere has chosen three countries "historically exploited and full of suffering": Ecuador, Bolivia and Paraguay.
