Philippe Morel: a surgeon's heart

Born on October 12, 1952 in Geneva, Philippe Morel became a doctor in 1978 and a surgeon in 1990, after training in the UK and the USA in organ transplantation. Initiator of the first national day for organ donation and transplantation in 1994, he also launched the European (1996) and worldwide (2005) days.
