Patient saved from death by phages

Phagotherapy, a method of using viruses to target and eliminate antibiotic-resistant bacteria without harming human cells, was recently successfully tested at Geneva University Hospitals. This procedure offers a glimmer of hope in a context where more and more bacteria are developing resistance to antibiotics.
