Overweight and obesity are high-risk factors for Covid-19

Overweight and obesity are even more prevalent than previously thought in units dedicated to Covid-19 patients. Of a total of 101 patients infected with the new coronavirus and admitted to intensive care units at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) to date, 83 are overweight or obese.
