Operation cancelled by the doctor, what about the patient?

Following a strike by Geneva hand surgeons to protest the new Tarmed tariff in force since early January 2018, several operations have been cancelled. And many other situations can lead to surgery being cancelled or postponed. What rights do patients have in such cases?
