Mignonnes" controversy in the U.S.: the great misunderstanding

First feature-length film by French-Senegalese director Maïmouna Doucuré, "Mignonnes" sparked worldwide controversy when it went online on Netflix in the USA. Carried in particular by the American right, which accused the platform of hypersexualizing the bodies of the young girls in the film, the controversy is just a big misunderstanding or a real case dʹécole on how to condemn a film before you have seen it.
