MEDICIS, CERN's medical program

CERN's particle gas pedals are advancing fundamental physics and our understanding of the composition of matter. They are also advancing medicine. The European Organization for Nuclear Research's new project is called MEDICIS, and its aim is to produce radioisotopes for use in fundamental cancer research in particular.
