Lʹitalianity in Switzerland

There are many Italian speakers living in Switzerland. In Ticino and some of the valleys of Graubünden, but also all over the country, with people from the Italian immigrant background. What is the relationship of these Italian speakers to the notion of dʹitalianité? What does the mosaic of Swiss Italianity look like? How has this notion evolved over time?
