Libya is a state divided in two

Between a government recognized by the international community but exiled in a hotel in the city of Tobruk, and an executive self-proclaimed in August 2014, installed in Tripoli, and considered close to the Muslim Brotherhood. Each of the two camps claims revolutionary legitimacy, challenging the authority of the other.
