Hillary Clinton: the paradox of women in politics

Hillary Clinton's candidacy for the 2016 Presidential election excites feminists in the United States, but also seems to leave many women voters unmoved. While Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Michele Bachmann, Nikki Haley and Carly Fiorina often occupy the forefront of the contemporary scene, these national figures should not make us forget the under-representation of women in elected bodies, or the difficulty of their struggles.
