A geomagnetic storm hits the Earth: what impact will it have on our planet?

On the night of Friday March 22 to Saturday March 23, 2024, a geomagnetic storm originating from the Sun struck the Earth and its protective magnetic field for over 2 days. In addition to the beautiful aurora borealis caused by the solar winds, possible disruptions, somewhat less poetic, were observable, notably on air traffic, power grids or the functioning of satellites orbiting the Earth.
