In the 1960s and 1970s, Spain became a promise and a synonym for well-deserved vacations. Crossings of Europe by charter or car to reach the beaches and tapas, bullfights, flamenco, the institution of the siesta, partying like nowhere else, in short sunny memories and yet the dictatorship is still there.
