In the footsteps of Paul Narbel, naturalist and traveller from Lausanne

If you can admire a stuffed polar bear or a taxidermized dodo in any zoology museum, it's thanks to the many expeditions carried out around the world in the 19th and early 20th centuries. A book brings to life the saga of Paul Narbel, a doctor from Lausanne, during his naturalist expedition to Ceylon and Sumatra, between 1906-1907.
