Extinction Rebellion: a climate of revolt

Since late 2018, activists from dʹExtinction Rebellion (often abbreviated XR) have been blockading cities around the world. Their aim: to force governments to take emergency measures in the face of climate chaos. This civil disobedience movement claims several hundred thousand supporters.
