Europe selects EPFL's "time machine

"Time Machine" is one of six projects selected by the European Commission to hit a jackpot of one billion euros (1.1 billion francs) in funding. The idea is to use artificial intelligence and digitization to exploit Europe's cultural heritage and provide free access to Europe's past: a kind of UFO among the projects in the running.
