The Euclid telescope takes off to explore the dark side of the Universe

Europe's Euclid space telescope has lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida in a bid to shed light on one of science's greatest enigmas, dark matter and dark energy. Switzerland has contributed around 24 million Swiss francs to this mission.
