Environment, a fast-growing market

The Swiss environmental market is worth almost 40 billion and accounts for 3.2% of GDP. This is what a recent report by the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (SFSO) has highlighted. Far from being a brake on the market economy, this report highlights the importance of a sector which has grown by 30% in 8 years and which today creates thousands of jobs.
