Chlamydia and infertility in women
Légende
Chlamydia is one of the most widespread bacterial sexually transmitted diseases in Switzerland and Europe. The infection is caused by a small bacterium, Chlamydia trachomatis, and in 70% of affected women, the infection produces few or no symptoms. In severe cases, on the other hand, the disease can lead to infertility or the risk of ectopic pregnancy.
