Chimeras emerge from myth

In Greek mythology, chimeras were "mixed" animals, like Pegasus the winged horse. A team of American researchers has just successfully introduced human cells into a pig embryo. They have thus created, for the first time, a living being with two parts of different species. Is Greek mythology becoming reality?
