Beware of overexploitation of sand

At this very moment, the report "Sand and sustainability: 10 strategic recommendations to avert a crisis" is being presented to the United Nations. Today, there are no regulations governing this exploitation. Yet, after water, sand is the most exploited natural resource in the world.
