Becoming parents, becoming unequal

Becoming a parent, and therefore the transition to parenthood, marks life courses with a multitude of changes affecting both partners and their couple: transformation of the division of labor, reconfiguration of the social network, identity adjustments. Often, these changes bring the lʹorganization of the couple closer to the traditional roles of father and mother, a model that also includes gender inequalities.
