Assisted suicide

Assisted suicide is permitted in Switzerland under certain conditions. Revolting for some, understandable for others, the subject remains taboo and leaves no one indifferent. Especially when confronted with it. What do we do when someone close to us tells us they want to resort to it? How do we talk to them about it?
