Artificial intelligence to predict genetic mutations

A research team from Neuchâtel is looking to teach a computer to recognize where genetic variations in a pathogenic fungus might occur. In this way, artificial intelligence could predict genetic mutations. Biologists at the University of Neuchâtel are testing this possibility on a fungus that attacks wheat.
