Allergies, beware of birch pollen

April is traditionally synonymous with runny noses, itchy throats and itchy eyes. The culprit can be found in our parks, forests and gardens: the birch. This tree with its white trunk is indeed the one that triggers the most allergies - almost 8% of the population is sensitive to it.
