Alcohol, a collective intoxication

Lʹalcohol is a legal drug in Switzerland and many other countries. Alcohol consumption is even commonplace in Western societies. At cocktail hour, during a party or a candlelit dinner, alcohol becomes a social ritual. So much so that those who don't drink are forced to justify themselves, and sometimes feel excluded.
