The Prix Georges-Nicole was created in 1969 by Maurice Chappaz, Jacques Chessex and Bertil Galland to encourage young, previously unpublished writers to renew the literary scene in French-speaking Switzerland. In this jubilee year, the jury saluted a short collection of texts by Adrien Bürki.
