Colorectal cancer affects 4600 people every year in Switzerland. It is the second most deadly cancer after lung cancer. While the over-50s are particularly concerned, the disease also affects younger people, who are sometimes slow to be diagnosed, as colorectal cancer is traditionally associated with people of a certain age.
