Switzerland and France sign water management agreement for the Rhône and Léman rivers

Switzerland and France have signed two agreements in Geneva on the management of the waters of the Rhône and Léman rivers, fourteen years after the first discussions on the subject. Climate change makes water management a major issue in cross-border policy.
