Swiss researchers launch their AI model of open language

It goes by the name of "Apertus" and is the Swiss equivalent of ChatGPT. This new language tool using artificial intelligence (AI) has been launched. It aims to be an alternative to existing commercial systems, criticized for their lack of transparency.
