A potential new treatment for brain cancer

Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive brain cancer with little chance of survival, could see new treatments emerge. UNIGE and HUG have developed genetically modified CAR-T cells. These cells target the Tenascin-C protein in the tumor environment, destroying glioblastoma cells, with success in animal models.
