Nuclear power: back in grace?

Forty years after the Chernobyl disaster, and 15 years after Fukushima, will 2026 be the year when nuclear power makes a comeback in Switzerland? At a time when the atom has the wind in its sails in the European energy debate, the competent committees of the Federal Parliament are also proposing to reopen the way in Switzerland.
Will the ban on the construction of new power plants in Switzerland have been no more than a parenthesis? Can Switzerland make a successful transition without nuclear power? And what is the state of technology today on the atomic energy front?
