A new method for detecting colorectal cancer

Responsible for nearly 900,000 deaths annually, colorectal cancer is a major public health concern. A new detection method, less invasive than colonoscopy, is being developed by the University of Geneva. It uses analysis of intestinal bacteria via stool.
