The month of October turns pink and rhymes with prevention

In Switzerland, October is dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer, the most common cancer among women. Every year, 6,500 women are affected and 1,400 die from the disease. In most cantons, systematic screening is offered to women aged 50 to 74, with a mammogram every two years. The Vaud program is a reminder of the importance of participating in this screening.
