Lausanne Cathedral: When the Bernese come

In 1536, the cathedral's history was turned upside down: Bern imposed the Reformation. It became a Protestant temple, its customs changed and iconoclasm took possession of the site. Yet a Virgin Mary, a stained glass window and preserved treasures remind us that, despite destruction and practical choices, this era still marks the stone.
