Lʹalcohol in an herbal spray for an 11-year-old: is it safe?

A father listener contacted the show, surprised to find that an herbal spray recommended for his 11-year-old daughter contained alcohol. A spagyric preparation, made by a pharmacist, with no mention of alcohol on the packaging. Legitimate concern or not?
