When we think of head injuries, we spontaneously imagine rugby, field hockey, boxing and soccer. Yet concussions don't only affect professional athletes or the most spectacular disciplines. They can also occur during a fall on skis, an accident in amateur sport, or even in everyday situations. Dizziness, nausea, confusion, headaches, vision problems, cognitive slowdown or memory impairment: the signs can be very varied, sometimes discreet, sometimes more alarming.
