Baby milk: traceability in question
Légende
Although they should no longer be sold due to a risk of contamination, ABE found two cans of baby milk from problematic batches on the market in French-speaking Switzerland. The case of milk contaminated with cereulide has been shaking the world for several months. It calls into question not only manufacturers' control processes, but also the authorities' ability to manage large-scale crises. We would have liked to hear the reaction of the Federal Office for Food Safety (OSAV), but despite our repeated requests, the Office refused any on-camera interviews. The OSAV is passing the buck to the manufacturers, who are responsible for contaminating the milk. But several voices are also criticizing the federal authority's communication.
