20 years of robot-assisted surgery at the HUG
Légende
Far from the image of an autonomous robot, these are tools remotely controlled by surgeons, consisting of articulated arms attached to trocars and a control console equipped with 3D vision, joysticks and pedals. This device enables more precise gestures, better ergonomics for the operator and, in many cases, less invasive surgery, with potential benefits for patients.
